Richard Lovrich

Richard has shown his work at the Albany Center Gallery, including a complete gallery takeover in 2017 for his MAKERS 365 photographic portrait series. He has also shown at the Arts Center of the Capital Region, most notably his 41 SHOTS series of paintings dedicated to the murder of Amadou Diallo. Richard Lovrich began his professional career in New York City as a Photographer, graphic artist and project manager. As the Albany Times Union’s first art director, he spearheaded new sections and special editions. Hired as Proctors, Schenectady’s AD in 2007, he ushered the theatre’s image through its period of explosive growth. Richard’s current, STUDIO LOVRICH serves clients across a broad range of industries. In 2021 he released his book of very short stories, HAVE A VERY BAD DAY, which received a positive, if perplexed, reception.
